FridaBaby Box Re-design
As a personal study and work learning, I saw that Fridababy needed a new innovative front look from one of their packages.
The package being called "The Big Bundle of Joy" I decided to re design it and give it some life! Below I tackle it's issues and what kind of solutions I bring to the box!
The Problem
This FridaBaby current packaging artwork does a good job of showing the shopper on shelf what’s inside the kit. But it doesn’t feel as giftable and on brand as their other gift kits do. It feels dull in colors, art work feels too compressed which confuses the reader, and to end, it does not create enough drive to make the customer choose to purchase this product.
The Solution
Following Fridababy's other packaging designs, I created the "Big Bundle of Joy" in a new modernized packaging featuring fun and a refresh look to stand out in the shelves in comparison to their competitors!
Market Research
The final decision was done after researching Frida’s top competitors. Munchkin being one of Frida’s competitors, this color box helps stand out from their packages if placed on shelves. With the baby blue being its main color, it can clearly be a stand out when in the shelves, thus making the customer wonder what the box could contain! (An eye-catcher!)
